In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive around Lake Nakuru—famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and an array of other wildlife. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot buffalo, waterbuck, and various bird species. After a fulfilling game drive, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by nature.
After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara, a world-renowned wildlife haven. You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. The Mara is famous for its Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos), and you'll have the chance to spot these majestic creatures along with other incredible species. Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and an evening to relax.
Today is a full day of exploring Masai Mara. Start your day with a morning at leisure—enjoy the views, relax, and prepare for your afternoon adventure. After lunch at your lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll explore more of the Mara’s wide-open plains. The park is known for its abundance of wildlife, especially predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You may also witness herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing peacefully. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for a dinner and share stories from your exciting day in the wild.
Another day in the Masai Mara gives you a fresh opportunity to explore. After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at your lodge or camp, taking in the natural beauty of your surroundings. In the afternoon, head out for another thrilling game drive. This could include a visit to the Mara River for dramatic views and a chance to spot predators like crocodiles and lions. You might even have the option for an optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost) to experience the Mara from the sky! Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for your final dinner in the Mara, reflecting on your unforgettable safari.
On your last day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Mara before checking out. Depending on your departure time, you'll be transferred back to Nairobi or the nearest airstrip for your return flight.
