Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be greeted by your safari guide and set off southward on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by your first afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, watch elephants roam beneath the snow-capped peak for that iconic safari photo. Settle in for dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.
Spend the day exploring the rich landscapes of Amboseli with both morning and afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and countless bird species. Between game drives, relax at your lodge with views of the savannah, and enjoy a serene sunset before another hearty dinner.
After an early breakfast, depart Amboseli and journey north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Ranges. Arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch and checkin to you camp and have an afternoon to yourself. Ol Pejeta is renowned for its conservation efforts, including the last two northern white rhinos, the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, and Big Five sightings. Wind down your day with a fireside dinner in this intimate conservancy.
Dive into a full day of discovery in Ol Pejeta. Begin with a sunrise game drive to catch predators in action, followed by a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary and rhino conservation area. Learn about anti-poaching efforts and endangered species programs. After lunch and some downtime, head out for an evening game drive.
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its beautiful soda lake and pink flamingo flocks (seasonal). Arrive for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive around the lake. Expect to see white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalos, and possibly leopards. The park’s acacia woodlands and sweeping views make for a photogenic safari experience.
Today, continue westward to the world-famous Masai Mara, home to the Great Migration and some of Africa’s best wildlife viewing. After lunch at your camp or lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the Mara’s rolling plains. Look out for prides of lions, elusive leopards, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. As the sun dips low, return to camp for dinner.
Experience a full day on safari in the Masai Mara. Start early with a morning drive or an optional hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost) for aerial views of the savannah and wildlife below. Spend the day exploring different regions of the reserve, possibly catching a river crossing (seasonal), and observing predator-prey interactions. Break for a bush lunch and continue your adventure into the afternoon. Return to your lodge for a final safari sundowner and farewell dinner.
Enjoy one last morning before breakfast, then begin your return journey to Nairobi via road or optional flight (for a quicker transfer). Depending on your departure time, enjoy lunch in the city or a short visit to local attractions or souvenir shops. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, concluding your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
